Clip and clean ride at Lead Mine Conservation Area. Meet at the equestrian campground. Riding out at 9:30 a.m.

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: BC Stables and Training Center. 5453 E. Farm Road 2, Fair Grove, MO
PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE:
A horse/pony/mule that they can ride and control.
- A responsible adult to accompany, with or without a mount.
- Transportation to BC Stables and Training Center.
AGENDA
9:30 – Noon
After a brief getting to know you” time, kids will learn through instruction and “hands on participation” why knowing how a horse thinks can keep you a safe rider and your horse happy! Horseback games and drills in a large arena will teach trail ethics and trail riding safety. Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics and Trail Advocacy Awareness will be covered.
Noon – 1:00
LUNCH PROVIDED BY TRI-LAKES CHAPTER, SMMBCH, for participants and accompanying adult.
1:00 – 4:00
TRAIL RIDE – practicing and applying trail ride ethics, horse safety, and Leave No Trace principles.
ADULTS – please bring a horse to ride with your youth if this is his/her first experience on trails, you feel your youth is not experienced enough to ride on their own, or you just want to experience a trail ride with your youth.
